Accessibility @ CfA
Driven by a policy-change that expanded the reach of food stamps in California, we took the opportunity to improve our accessibility standards first for GetCalFresh and then for all services at Code for America.

GetCalFresh
GetCalFresh is a service that helps millions of Californians each year to put food on the table. What started out as proof-of-concept prototype was eventually adopted by the State of California as the official online application for CalFresh.

Inkling Books
From 2011-2014, I worked at Inkling in partnership with publishers and educational experts to imagine the future of the book. I worked on titles such as Frommer’s Day by Day, Modernist Cuisine, and Megg’s History of Graphic Design.

Inkling Tools
At Inkling, our goal was to reimagine educational books for the digital era. A new type of book requires a new type of authoring tool. I worked several features that helped content authors to build interactive books on their own.
